From Tucson & the West...
Option 1: Through Sierra Vista & Past Kartchner Caverns
(recommended for RVers - Trailers)
I-10 to Hwy 90 at Benson (exit 302 from I-10)
Stay on this Road -- It Turns into Buffalo Soldier Trail
(at the Main Ft. Huachuca Gate and 2nd Streetlight in Sierra Vista)
Buffalo Soldier Trail to Hwy 92
(it will twist and head east first - Hwy 92 is a LARGE Intersection)
Turn Right (south) on Hwy 92
Turn Right (south) on Naco Hwy for appx. 4.5 Miles
(inside the "Bisbee City Limits" sign, Naco Hwy will be your first streetlight for
at least 25 miles)
Turn Right at Newell St.
(last turn before the train tracks, Golf Course will be visible on the right)
Golf Course (& Parking) will be on the Right, RV Park on the Left
(if Golf Course Parking is Full, Use Overflow Lot, across the street,
adjacent to the East Side of the RVPark)
Option 2: Through Tombstone & Bisbee (and past TQHills Family Golf Center, Benson)
(believe it or not, a few minutes faster)
I-10 to Hwy 80 at Benson (exit 303)
(past Tombstone, "The Town Too Tough to Die," a reasonable 1/2-way point;
then come to Bisbee, "The Town Too High to Care,")
Uphill and through the Mule Pass Tunnel, you'll bypass Old Bisbee and then the
infamous Lavendar Pit -open pit mine
At the Traffic Circle/Roundabout, take the First Exit to Hwy 92
Turn Left (south) onto Naco Hwy at the 2nd Streetlight
4.5 Miles Later, Turn Right at Newell St.
Golf Course (& Parking) will be on the Right, RV Park on the Left
(if Golf Course Parking is Full, Use Overflow Lot, across the street,
adjacent to the East Side of the RVPark)
From the East...
You can do the same thing: take either Hwy 80 or 90 and follow the same directions.
-OR, if traveling through New Mexico, take Hwy 80 at Road Forks, west of Lordsburg and
just east of the AZ State Line.
Hwy 80 will take you through Douglas and to the Bisbee Traffic Circle.
Go halfway around the Traffic Circle and Take Hwy 92
Turn Left (south) onto Naco Hwy at the 2nd Streetlight
4.5 Miles Later, Turn Right at Newell St.
Golf Course (& Parking) will be on the Right, RV Park on the Left
(if Golf Course Parking is Full, Use Overflow Lot, across the street, adjacent to East Side
of RVPark)
From Sierra Vista...
Most people don't seem to believe this, but from many places in Sierra Vista, it's quicker to
get here through Bisbee.
Take Hwy 90 East and turn right on 80 (some 12 miles or so on Hwy 80... through the
tunnel, past Old Bisbee and then the Lavendar Pit) to the Traffic Circle.
Take the first (right) turn off the Traffic Circle, onto Hwy 92. From 92 turn left at the second
streetlight (Naco Hwy).
On Naco Hwy, go 4.5 miles and turn right on W. Newell St. (you'll see the golf course on
your right).
OR, if you're on the South Side of Sierra Vista...
Take Hwy 92 toward Bisbee (after Sierra Vista, you'll pass through Hereford and Palominas).
Once inside the Bisbee City Limits (there's a sign) you'll turn right at the first
streetlight (again, Naco Hwy), and 4.5 miles later, turn right on W. Newell.
